Summary

This Supplementary Order Paper amends Supplementary Order Paper No 259 amending the End of Life Choice Bill to replace clause 5A, in order to protect the freedom of conscience of the persons within the New Zealand medical profession.

The question was put that the amendment set out on Supplementary Order Paper 299 in the name of Chris Penk to the proposed amendments set out on Supplementary Order Paper 259 in the name of David Seymour to Part 2 be agreed to.
